Comfort Furnace - Questions and answers

Q1. How much does the unit cost to operate?
Depending on how much hydro cost in your area. It operates on less electricity per day than a Mr.Coffee (approx. 1$ per day).

 

Q2. How does infrared heat work?
The "Soft Heat" Comfort Furnace space heater essentially duplicates the way Nature heats when it warms the earth to provide a soft, convection-like heat. Essentially, it works to heat the air through infrared elements - much like the rays of the sun providing warmth. This heated air is then directed back into the indoor environment by fans - through a grill on the front of the unit. The result... even, soft heat that is normally balanced between floor and ceiling by no more than a few degrees difference.


Q3. What is the maintenance on the unit?
The Comfort Furnace requires almost no maintenance other then cleaning the filter in the back of the unit. The infrared tubes can also be replaced in about 3 min.

Q4. How many watts does the unit pull and why is that different than a space heater?
The Comfort Furnace Heater comes in 2 convenient size, 1000 Watt and 1500 Watt


Q5. How long does the unit last?
The Comfort Furnace Heater is Designed to Last 15-20 Years or more

 

Q6. How much are the replacement part on the unit?
The infrared Tubes cost around 25$ each. In total you require 4 tubes. The infrared Tubes are designed to last 20,000 hours

 

Q7. I can leave my home leaving it on?
Yes! There are no flames, fumes or deadly monoxides. Does not create a fire hazard, safe for children and pets.


Q8. Why is this unit different from other infrared heat sources?
Comfort Furnace quartz infrared tubes utilize new infrared technology found only in Comfort Furnace quartz infrared heater.


Q9. what parts goes out most?
